(Ann Arbor, MI) Head Coach Danielle Cook and the Concordia University volleyball team have announced the addition of Tionne Mercer from Lumen Christi Catholic High School.

Tionne will comes to Concordia from Jackson, MI where she attended Lumen Christi and played volleyball for Leslie Putman. Mercer served as the defensive specialist while playing for the Titans.

"Tionne will be a fun player to watch. She has as much passion and fire to dig up any ball that comes to her which is a very important trait for a defensive specialist" said Coach Cook.

She is the daughter of Marsena Tyrance and has two younger sibling; Larry and Tyson. Tionne plans to pursue a degree in either nursing or business while she attends Concordia.
