(June 2, 2010 - Ann Arbor, Mich) - The Concordia Cardinals are proud to announce the signing of 5'8" outside hitter Stephanie Emington from Reed City. Emington, who was a four-year starter, was named All-Conference, Cadillac All-Area Dream Team, and Pioneer All-Area Dream Team during her senior campaign.

Stephanie's achievements are not only limited to the volleyball court as she has excelled in the classroom as well. Her textbook accomplishments helped earn Stephanie Concordia's prestigious Presidential Scholarship which is given to only two incoming students each year. Stephanie graduated with an impressive 3.93 GPA and scored a 31 on her ACT.

Cardinal coach Justin Martin is confident Stephanie will adjust easily to the college game. "Stephanie's quickness will be her greatest asset to our program. Her speed will help her acclimate to the college game seamlessly. She already epitomizes the qualities that Concordia University looks to impart upon their students. She will not only make our team better, but our community better as well."
