Five named to CSC Track & Field/Cross Country Academic All-District Team

Five named to CSC Track & Field/Cross Country Academic All-District Team

(Ann Arbor, MI) - The College Sport Communicators (CSC) released their 2024-25 Women's Track & Field/Cross Country Academic All-District winners on Tuesday afternoon, and several Concordia Cardinals were given honors. 

 

Morgan Jenkins, a junior from Cleveland, Ohio, earned a 3.70 cumulative GPA while studying Elementary Education. 

 

Michaela Kurth, a sophomore from Ypsilanti, Michigan, recorded a 4.00 GPA while studying Physical Therapy.

 

Macee Ripke, a sophomore from Napoleon, Ohio, who is studying Elementary Education and has a 3.82 cumulative GPA. 

 

Christina Smith earned a cumulative GPA of 3.87. Smith is a sophomore from Saginaw, Michigan.

 

Hailey Stasiukinas is a senior in the Nursing program. She earned a GPA of 3.79 and is from Westland, Michigan.

 

The 2024-25 Academic All-District Track & Field/Cross Country Team, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA.

 

College Sport Communicators is a 3,200+ member national association for strategic, creative, and digital communicators across intercollegiate athletics in the United States and Canada. The organization was previously known as College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) and was changed to its new name in August of 2022.

 

Nominees for the All-District team must have maintained a cumulative GPA of 3.50. The student-athlete must reach sophomore athletic eligibility to qualify for the honor.
