(Sept. 17, 2007 - Grand Rapids, Mich.) -- Concordia libero Ashley Zair (So. - West Bloomfield, Mich.) was named the best at her position for the past week after guiding the Cards to a 2-1 record moving the overall record to 7-9, matching last season's win total. Zair, who moved to the libero position officially at the start of the season, had a total of 61 digs for the week with two kills, four assists and a trio of service aces. The honor is the first in the career of Zair and is the honor bestowed on a Cardinal player this season.
