Men's Bowling places 7th at final WHAC Regular Season Tournament

(Allen Park, MI) – The Concordia Cardinal Men's Bowling was in action today at the final Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference tournament of the regular season. The event featured teams bowl in three team games followed by 15 baker games.

 

The Cardinals finished the tournament in 7th place as they knocked down a total of 5,669 pins. 

 

CUAA RESULTS

David Schaberg finished atop the leaderboard for the Cardinals with a second place overall finish after totaling 717 pins, nearly missing out on a 300 game with a 298. Next up was Connor Rogus with a 634 and ending in 11th place as he recorded a 233 high game. The final Cardinal with a top-15 finish was Nicholas Schaberg as he scored 626 pins. 

 

Hunter Fletcher and Kaden Salts both bowled in a pair of games as Fletcher scored a 376 and Salts a 358. They both tallied 198 high games.

 

The final two bowlers were Kenji London and Conner Lackey who bowled games of 160 and 136 respectively. 

 

JV RESULTS

The Cardinals ended the tournament in 11th place with 5,018 pins.

TOURNAMENT RESULTS

Blake Attig from Trine University took home the top individual spot at the final WHAC tournament after knocking down a total of 728 pins as he averaged 242.6 pins per game. 

 

St. Francis (IL) took home the team title as they would end up knocking down 6,112 total pins.

The Cardinals head to the Hoosier Classic in Indianapolis, Indiana on February 15 and 16 at the Western Bowl.
