(Ann Arbor, MI) The Concordia volleyball team hosted #22 Madonna University in their 2nd home game in two days. The Cardinals battled hard with the Crusaders, but fell short and lost in straight sets (23-25, 15-25, 22-25). Concordia will look to bounce back on Wednesday, Sept. 20th when they continue WHAC play and host Siena Heights University.

- 1st Set: Concordia battled back and forth with the Crusaders but came up short in the 1st set, 25-23. (CUAA 0, MU 1)
- 2nd Set: Madonna came out on top in set #2 by a score of 25-15. Rebecca McDonald (SR/Linden, MI) brought her kill total up to 9 through two sets. (CUAA 0, MU 2)
- 3rd Set: Concordia fought hard in the 3rd set but came up short, 25-22. Alisha Anderson (SR/Dexter, MI) recorded 7 kills and 15 digs in the match.
- The Cardinals recorded their 2nd most kills (42) in a 3 set match only coming short to their 5 set thriller last night of 53.
- Setters Hailey McCourt (FR/Toledo, OH) (14) and Kylie Frank (JR/Chelsea, MI) (23) combined for 37 total assists
- Rebecca McDonald tied her season and career high with a hitting percentage of .421. The junior middle hitter recorded 10 kills on 19 total attacks.

Concordia will continue their stretch of home games as they host Siena Heights on Wednesday, September 20th. The Saints bring a 12-1 overall record into the match up. Concordia will then host a CRAM on Sept. 22nd and 23rd which will include St. Xavier University (Ill.), Carlow University, and Indiana University-Northwest.
