Ellesyn Fritcha commits to CUAA Tennis

The Concordia University Women's Tennis team has announced the signing of Ellesyn Fritcha from Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Coach Kaylee Tucker is looking forward to Elle joining the team, stating: "Elle has a lot of experience and is a strong singles player who will help take Concordia to the next level competitively. Her most memorable match moment at Concordia Lutheran High School was winning the Concordia Invitational, and even though she was completely exhausted afterward, she had fought through to pull out a win. That's one of the reasons I know Elle is a great fit for the team; she's a hard worker who won't back down from a challenge. Elle has such a positive spirit, and I know she is able to be a leader for the team and will help further our relationship with God."

On deciding which school to attend, Elle explained, "I chose Concordia because I'm a Lutheran through and through and wanted to come here even before I knew sports were an option! Being able to focus on my faith in my education is something I continue to look forward to!"

Elle also plans on being a member of the Concordia women's basketball team as a dual sport athlete.
