(Ann Arbor, MI) - The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) released its yearly postseason honors on Friday morning, and several Concordia Cardinals earned honors.
CHAMPIONS OF CHARACTER
Ambryn Diener was also recognized as the team's WHAC Champion of Character. The Cardinal defender was honored for her commitment to the five core values of integrity, respect, responsibility, sportsmanship, and servant leadership.
Cardinal first year head coach Kaela Beerman was named the WHAC Champions of Character Coach for the 2024 season. Beerman becomes the second coach in Concordia Women's Soccer program history to receive the award.
WHAC ALL-ACADEMIC TEAM
Also, WHAC All-Academic teams were named on Friday. The qualifications for the All-Academic team were a sophomore in academic standing and a cumulative GPA of 3.25. The six Cardinals to earn the honor were Madelyn Ankoviak, Ambryn Diener, Isabella Elsey, Samantha Kohls, Nicole Koops, and Lauryn Rhodea.
