Three Cardinals named to CSCA All American Teams

Three Cardinals named to CSCA All American Teams

(Ann Arbor, MI) The College STUNT Coaches Association announced their yearly All-American Awards and Concordia's Savana Ruffner, Xiomara Thurmond, and Nya Martinez all received All-American status. 

 

Xiomara Thurmond, a sophomore from Roseville, Michigan, received 1st team All American.

 

 

Savana Ruffner, a sophomore from New Boston, Michigan, received 2nd team All American. She received Honorable Mention the previous year. 

 

Nya Martinez, a junior from Eastvale, California received All American Honorable Mention.

 

. The Coaches Association recognized student-athletes who met the following criteria:

- Participate in all 4 quarters of play (Quarter 1: Partner Stunts, Quarter 2: Pyramids and Tosses, Quarter 3: Jumps and Tumbling, Quarter 4: Team we Routine)

- Participate in at least 50% of games played

- Be a vital component to the team's success; power ranking

 

Prior to this Season Savana Ruffner, Brianna Domagalski, Danyelle Beckesh, and Julia Griggs-Hendrix were the only Cardinals to be honored on an All-American team.
