2019: Abbey shaved nearly two minutes off of her 5k PR and three minutes off of her 6k PR in her junior season on her way to five finishes in the top 20 and third all time in Concordia's record books. Bentz's top finish came at the Calvin Knight Invite with a 24:13.7 6k finish, placing her in 5th. Her top 5k time was at the Lansing Invitational where she was 8th after a 19:14.4 finish. That time puts Bentz at third in the program records.

2018: Ran in six meets with her best finish coming at the Calvin Knight Invite 5k, where she clocked in at 21:00.3.

2017: Ran a season's best time at the Louisville Classic where she ran a 22:21.7 (5K) as she placed 191st.

Personal: Abigail is the daughter of Jack and Wendy Bentz, and has three siblings; Lainey, Luke and Ben
