New Cardinal Chelsea Anderson
(May 10, 2008 - Ann Arbor, Mich.) -- Concordia volleyball coach Dan Kirchhoff continues to add depth to his roster for this coming fall as the three-year skipper looks to move into the upper echelon of the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference standings. Kirchhoff announced today that the Cardinals have signed Chelsea Anderson, a setter and defensive specialist from Washtenaw Christian Academy.

Men's Cross Country
(May 9, 2008 - Ann Arbor, Mich.) -- New men's cross country Steve Montgomery announced today that the Cardinal program has signed Phil Brown, a harrier from Saint Joseph High School. Brown has been a four-year member of the St. Joe cross country and track teams with the new Cardinal winning many honors along the way. His junior season, Brown was named the team's "Will to Win Athlete" while his senior season he was named the team's captain and earned the "Antependia Memorial Award." Brown is a two-time All-County runner and he helped guide the program to the County Championship this past season, as well as Co-Division Champions and a second-place finish in the regional, earning the team a trip to the state meet.

New Card David Sutton
(May 7, 2008 - Ann Arbor, Mich.) -- The Concordia baseball team, hot of the heels of its best season ever, continues to build an even stronger version for the 2009 season as the Cardinals signed three players to National Letters of Intent recently. Concordia signed David Sutton, an infielder from Armada High School, and two outfielders in Hastings High School product Ricky Mathis and a junior college transfer in Sean Quesada of Macomb Community College.

(April 14, 2008 - Ann Arbor, Mich.) -- The Concordia University athletic department has announced that Steve Montgomery will take the helm of the men's and women's cross country and track programs for the 2008-2009 seasons. Montgomery brings a wealth of experience to the position; most notably as a very successful coach at Livonia Ladywood high school and Schoolcraft College.
