(Ann Arbor, MI) Concordia University has added a major offensive weapon in the signing of Jessie Barns from Grove City Christian School in Grove City, OH. Barns was a member of the inaugural season at Grove City and will now do the same for the Concordia University Cardinals. It is rare to be a member of two start-up programs, but that is the type of leadership that Jessie will bring to Concordia.

The Concordia University Baseball program is excited to announce the signing of Garden City High School standout Nathan McHugh. Nate's honors include All-Observer 1st team, All-District, All -Area, and All- Region. Nate excelled in the classroom as well as the ball field with a 3.0 GPA. The 2010 graduate will come to Concordia this fall and provide depth to an already solid pitching staff. The left hander went 7-2 with a 2.80 ERA with seven complete games and four shutouts. Nate amassed more than 100 strikeouts in two years with the Varsity program. Nate played for Coach Steve Herman on a Garden City squad that made it to the regional final this year. Nate plays summer ball for Coach Mike Kaczmarek (Former Concordia Coach and Alum).

(Ann Arbor, MI) Concordia University Ann Arbor's baseball program is pleased to announce the signing of Ryan Neu. Ryan comes to Concordia from Macomb Community College where he was awarded for his leadership qualities. Ryan played his High School Baseball at Canton High School under Coach Blomshield.
