High School Highlights:
Ryan placed honorable mention all-conference his junior year for cross country and 1st team all-conference his senior year. Ryan also earned MVP for both his 2009 and 2010 cross country campaigns.
Collegiate Highlights:
As a freshman, Ryan ran a PR of a 28:38 for his collegiate 8k debut at the 2011 Calvin College Invitational. As a sophomore, he ran a PR of a 28:07 at the Lansing Invitational. In his junior season, Ryan red shirted due to an Achilles injury.
Personal:
Ryan’s favorite athlete is Bernard Lagat. His most common nickname is RBL. When he isn’t running he enjoys other sports, games, family and friends.
