Tom played his freshman year of college at Eastern Michigan University where he was redshirted. In his first season for the Cards he averaged 43.8 yards per punt. As a sophomore and junior Tom was All-Conference and in his junior year he was a two time Conference Player of the Week and also Academic All-NAIA.
High School Highlights:
In high school, Tom was named to the All-Conference, All-Area, All-League, and All-State teams. He was a kicking.com 3-star punter.
