Robin Santiago - Head Coach
The 2008 season marks Robin Santiago's second season as the head softball coach of the Cardinals.  Robin is a 2003 graduate of Concordia.  She was named Head Softball Coach of her alma mater in September of 2006.  Prior to her appointment as head softball coach, Robin worked in minor league baseball for 3 years.  Robin is excited to return to softball and turn Concordia into the NAIA national contender that the Cardinals were during her playing days.  Her 2002 team made the school's first-ever appearance in the NAIA National Championship.  Her career concluded with a Wolverine Hoosier Athletic Conference Player of the Year award and a first team NAIA All-American (Concordia's only first teamer in any sport).  Robin was also the catcher for the Puerto Rican National team from 1998-2003.

Robin won her coaching for the Cardinals on March 5, 2006.  She began her coaching career as an assistant at Concordia in 2003. This summer she was named Assistant Coach for the Philadelphia Force a National Pro Fastpitch team.  The team turned around a 1-6 start to finish 24-20 and just missed the NPF Championship Series.  Robin's experience in the NPF has opened her eyes to the growing opportunities for women in the sport and is excited to be part of the growth and success of the league.  Robin currently resides in Ypsilanti.
