New Cardinal Ryan Burmeister
(May 14, 2008 - Ann Arbor, Mich.) -- The Concordia men's cross country team continued to build a stable of quality runners after head coach Steve Montgomery signed Ryan Burmeister of Muskegon Mona Shores High School earlier in the week. Burmeister is a four-year member of the cross country team at Mona Shores, as well as a two-year member of both the hockey and track teams. The new Cardinal runner was captain of all three teams his senior season as well as being named Honorable Mention All-Conference for each sport. Burmeister was also named Academic All-State when he laced up the skates for the Mona Shores hockey team.

Senior Justin Gauthier
(May 13, 2008 - Ann Arbor, Mich.) -- In previous seasons the Concordia baseball team would be fortunate to have a player named to the All-Region team. After completing the most successful season in the history of the program, the 2008 squad had four players earn honors at the Regional level. Seniors Alex Hoover (Sr. - Shelbyville, Mich.) and Justin Gauthier (Sr. - Muskegon, Mich.) were joined by junior Aaron Hacias (Jr. - Sterling Heights, Mich.) on the All-Region team, while Tony Pounders (So. - Livonia, Mich.) was named the Gold Glove winner at the shortstop position for the Region.

New Cardinal Chelsea Anderson
(May 10, 2008 - Ann Arbor, Mich.) -- Concordia volleyball coach Dan Kirchhoff continues to add depth to his roster for this coming fall as the three-year skipper looks to move into the upper echelon of the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference standings. Kirchhoff announced today that the Cardinals have signed Chelsea Anderson, a setter and defensive specialist from Washtenaw Christian Academy.

Men's Cross Country
(May 9, 2008 - Ann Arbor, Mich.) -- New men's cross country Steve Montgomery announced today that the Cardinal program has signed Phil Brown, a harrier from Saint Joseph High School. Brown has been a four-year member of the St. Joe cross country and track teams with the new Cardinal winning many honors along the way. His junior season, Brown was named the team's "Will to Win Athlete" while his senior season he was named the team's captain and earned the "Antependia Memorial Award." Brown is a two-time All-County runner and he helped guide the program to the County Championship this past season, as well as Co-Division Champions and a second-place finish in the regional, earning the team a trip to the state meet.
