Concordia 71, Indiana Tech 64
(Feb. 6, 2010 - Ft. Wayne, Ind.) -- Count Elyse Schlump and Hannah Sabol as two people who like it when the day's opponent is the Indiana Tech Warriors. Schlump is averaging 15.5 points and 13 rebounds this season against the Warriors while Sabol averaged 16 points and 11 boards against Tech after the duo helped the Concordia women's basketball team complete the season sweep after a 71-64 win Saturday afternoon in Ft. Wayne. It was the second sweep of the season series for Concordia against Indiana Tech in the last three seasons.

(Feb. 5, 2010 - Findlay, Ohio) -- Weather usually isn't much of a factor for indoor track, but with the snowstorm that is blanketing the midwest and east coast, the Concordia indoor track team had a longer return ride home than usual as the Cardinals headed down US-23 to participate in the Findlay Open in Ohio. The Cards held their own against a field dominated by NCAA Division II talent as Martell Buchanan finished as high as third (600-meter run) while Max Joseph was fourth in the triple jump.

Indiana Tech 58, Concordia 57
(Feb. 6, 2010 - Ann Arbor, Mich.) -- The Concordia men's basketball team was one click on the clock away from sweeping the Indiana Tech Warriors for the first-time ever and sending the Cardinals into a close battle for the fourth playoff spot. But that second felt like an eternity as Ashton Foster grabbed an errant shot and rattled home the game winner for Tech sending the Warriors home happy with a 58-57 win.

Concordia 69, Siena Heights 59
(Feb. 3, 2010 - Adrian, Mich.) -- The Siena Heights Saints lead the Concordia women's basketball team for the first 24 minutes, and then the two teams exchanged baskets for the next 10 minutes before the Cardinals scored 17 of the final 26 points in a critical 69-59 road win. Kortni Elsworth (So. - Goodrich, Mich.) scored a team-high 19 points, while Kelly Cieslak (Fr. - Brighton, Mich.) added a dozen points as the Cardinals are now tied with the Saints for fourth in the conference standings, giving Concordia a chance to host a first-round playoff game for the first time ever.
