Concordia University is seeking applications for two full-time positions starting March 1, 2010 and July 1, 2010 for Assistant Football Coach of a new football program.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, overall development and management of the football team including: coaching, recruitment and retention of academically and athletically qualified student athletes, scheduling, fundraising, video coordinating, travel arrangements, among other things. The candidate will also be assigned other duties within the athletic department as related to experience, qualifications or departmental needs.

Qualifications:

Candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree, preferably a Master's degree. The candidate must also display a substantial background in the sport of football with coaching experience, preferably at the collegiate level. Candidate must also demonstrate knowledge of the principles and practices of the sport including rules, regulations, training and strategy. The candidate must also demonstrate knowledge of NAIA rules and have a firm commitment to strong, liberal arts, Christian education.

Salary: Commensurate with experience.
