The Concordia athletic department is excited to introduce The Cardinal Club, Concordia University Ann Arbor's official booster organization.

This is an exciting time in the history of Cardinal Athletics. As we continue to attract high-caliber student-athletes each year, we are proud of the strides our program is making.

•         Football will join our list of sponsored sports in 2010, and start the first official regular season in the fall of 2011.

•         The weight room and training room have both been expanded to accommodate our student-athlete population.

•         In the fall of 2009, the university inducted the first members into the Concordia Athletics Hall of Fame.

I invite you to join The Cardinal Club by making a contribution. Your gift, no matter what size, will create a sense of pride for past, present and future Cardinals. It will also enhance the awareness of the university in the surrounding communities.

On the right of this brochure, you will find the membership application to The Cardinal Club. You can make an impact at Concordia. Perhaps you have business contacts, resources, skills or funds that could be donated. 

Most importantly, we ask for your prayers. Please support Concordia and its student-athletes with words of prayer. God has a wonderful plan for these young men and women. We all desire the same thing: for our student-athletes to be at their best in academics and athletics, and fully-equipped for life­ beyond their days at Concordia.

In conjunction with the mission of the university, The Cardinal Club supports all Concordia athletic teams and student-athletes. The booster club seeks to promote and achieve excellence for the athletic programs, and to enhance the experience for all university students. The club seeks

to assist the Athletic Department's overall mission of graduating student-athletes, competing for championships, and producing individuals of integrity, who seek to put "Christ First in Everything."

Purpose of The Cardinal Club

•         To establish a community of alumni, friends, and parents that promotes Concordia and its athletic teams

•         To provide encouragement and assistance to help each student-athlete reach their academic and athletic goals

•         To prepare individuals for service in the church and world using valuable lessons learned through athletic experiences, such as: cooperation, discipline, deferred gratification, and perseverance.
