(Aug. 26th, 2010 Ann Arbor, MI) - Back on June 14th Piotr Westwalewicz and the Concordia Women's soccer team signed a promising young soccer star out of Ithaca High School in Ithaca, MI. Paige Beracy is a multiple sport athlete and she'll be playing both soccer and basketball for Concordia.

Assistant Coach Ashley Gay, who played 2 years at Concordia for Coach Westwalewicz, stated that "Paige will be a huge asset for us in the midfield. She's extremely quick, a goal scorer, and makes excellent decisions."

Paige has earned a number of different awards in high school and if she can keep up that trend the Cards will be a huge threat in the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference. Paige was named MVP for Ithaca High School for 3 years, 1st Team All-Conference 3 years, Division 4 All-District Team 2 years, Division 3 All-District Team 1 year, Division 3 & 4 All-Regional Team, Division 3 All-State Honorable Mention 1 year, and Division 4 All-State Honorable Mention 2 years.

Paige is the daughter of Rex Beracy and Nicki Oswald. Paige has three sisters Jayde, Taylor, and Jordyn and plans on majoring in Physical Education at Concordia.
