(Ann Arbor, MI)-Concordia University is proud to announce the signing of a tremendous two-sport athlete Kyle Bowens from Battle Creek Lakeview. Kyle is a record-setting track and field thrower as well as an all-conference football player. Bowens will be participating in both track and field and football for the Cardinals.

In high school, Kyle was a 4 year Varsity track letter winner at Lakeview. He was named All-City and All-Conference and All-Region in both the discus and the shot-put. Kyle is the school record holder for most points earned by a thrower with 137 points.

As a football player at Lakeview, Kyle was a starter both his Junior and Senior season. He was named All-Conference, All-City, and All-Area. As a linebacker, he led the area in fumbles caused and was in the top 5 in the area in tackles. As a Fullback, Kyle was in the top 20 in the area for touchdowns.
