(Ann Arbor, MI) The Concordia University Ann Arbor football program is pleased to announce the signing of Lance Griffus an outstanding Linebacker from Ogemaw Heights High School in West Branch, MI. Lance was an All-Conference selection for the Falcons and was a major contributor in this season's run to the State Semi-Finals in Division 3.

Lance started both ways for the Falcons both his Junior and Senior seasons. He was also the Tight End for Ogemaw. "Lance is a weight room warrior and loves to punish the opponent's" stated his High School Coach Andrew Pratley. "He is a tough kid, who likes to hit!" Concordia is hoping that Lance will be the staple on the defense that new Defensive Coordinator Jason Smelser is looking for in building his 3-4 Defensive scheme. Lance is a very versatile player and can play in many spots on the defense.
