(May 28, 2010 - Ann Arbor, Mich) - Concordia soccer coach Piotr Westwalewicz
was in search of a top flight keeper heading into the offseason. He may have found just that with the signing
of Ludington's Jessica Braun. Braun is
one of several recruits who will join the women's soccer program in the fall.
Braun's play in net has earned her several accolades in the
last two seasons. As a sophomore, she
earned All-District division III as well as her team's most improved
award. During her junior year, she
earned a spot on the All-Conference team as well as All-District division II
and honorable mention in the Muskegon Chronicle.
Jessica is the daughter of Carl and Grace Braun and has four
siblings: Sara, Clinton, Theresa, and
Michael. Braun will be majoring in
Religious Studies at Concordia.
