(May 21, 2010 - Ann Arbor, Mich) - Coach Ben Limback continues to fill his roster with not only highly skilled basketball players, but also with student-athletes that excel in the classroom as well. This trend continued with the signing of Waterford Mott's John Schaeffer.

Schaeffer averaged 16.7 points for the Corsairs as he led them to the conference title during his senior campaign. For his efforts, John earned Detroit News All Metro North, All Oakland County, and was rated one of Oakland Counties top 50 players with a #15 billing.

His talents are not limited to the basketball court as John will graduate with a 4.0 GPA. Limback is excited to add a student-athlete of John's caliber to the roster for next season. "John exemplifies the definition of a student-athlete. An extremely intelligent player who moves well without the ball and can score in a variety of ways. With his continued passion and work ethic, we look forward to a great four years with John."
