(March 18, 2010 - Ann Arbor, Mich.) -- For only the second time ever a member of the Concordia women's basketball team was honored with placement on the NAIA All-American team as forward Hannah Sabol (Fr. Shelby Twp., Mich.) earned a spot on the distinguished list. Sabol, the first freshman in Cardinal history to earn such an honor, joins Kristie Bilbie who was named Second Team All-American in 2001.
Sabol finished her first campaign with a 14.4 point per game average while hauling in 8.7 rebounds a game. For her effort, Sabol was named Second Team All-Conference, as well as Newcomer of the Year in the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference.
Nationally, Sabol was one of only two rookie's to be honored with All-American status this season.
