(March 13, 2010 - Ann Arbor, Mich.) -- After losing two series already on the schedule due to the weather, the Concordia baseball team has switched this afternoon's scheduled pair of games at Manchester College to later in the month, while also adding a single game next week at Central Michigan University - the fourth NCAA Division 1 team on the Cardinal schedule this season.
Weather in Indiana forced the the Cards and Manchester to reschedule the double-header scheduled for this afternoon for Monday, March 29. The set of games will begin at 1:00 p.m.
The two teams have met only twice before, with Concordia winning a pair of games in the 2008 season when both teams were in Myrtle Beach for their respective Spring Trips. Concordia won 4-2 in the first game and 7-0 in the nightcap.
Due to the loss of four games already, Concordia will travel to Mount Pleasant on Wednesday, March 17 for a single game at CMU against the Chippewas. First pitch is slated for 3:05 p.m.
The Cardinals have played CMU twice before losing both games. Last season, the Cards fell to CMU 12-2 with the previous defeat coming in the 2005 season when Concordia was crushed 20-2 at Theunissen Stadium.
