(March 7, 2010 - Ann Arbor, Mich.) -- Head women's basketball coach Andrea Gorski, whose team was picked eighth in a preseason coaches poll and finished fourth in the standings, was named Co-Coach of the Year by her peers, being the first Cardinal coach to receive such an honor in women's basketball. The Cardinals posted their second highest win total ever and first winning season in conference play after finishing 18-13 overall and 8-6 in the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference. Five other Cardinals were honored with postseason awards as well.
Hannah Sabol (Fr. - Shelby Twp., Mich.) had a solid freshman campaign as she lead the team in scoring with 14.4 points per game as well as a team-high 8.7 rebounds a night. The forward also finished with 13 double-doubles on the year and was honored with her strong rookie season by being placed on the All-Conference Second Team.

Cieslak had a 4.4 rebound average while also finishing with 7.8 points per game.
Megan Mannarino (Sr. - South Lyon, Mich.), who finished her career in the Cardinal top ten in both career assists and steals, displayed tremendous leadership during her final season at Concordia.
