(February 18, 2010 - Ann Arbor, Mich.) -- A little more than a week away until the start of the 2010 baseball season, the Concordia Cardinals have already suffered their first cancellation as the field at Campbellsville University in Kentucky has been beseiged with snow and rain and cold temperatures leaving the surface in no condition to play. Normally a strategy employed by northern teams, Campbellsville head coach Beauford Sanders said his field has yet to thaw due to weather that hasn't been seen in the area in decades. The Cardinals will now travel straight to Florida and begin their campaign with a doubleheader against William Penn University on March 1.
