(Nov. 7, 2009 - Grand Rapids, Mich.) -- In the final event of the 2009 cross country schedule, Amanda Hohnstadt had a strong performance while teammate Corinne Kuclo posted her best time-ever as the Cardinals wrapped up their season.

Hohnstadt finished 22nd overall with a time of 20:31.00, which was 1:49 off the lead in a crowded field. Carly Plank of Aquinas won the individual portion of the race with a finish of 18:52, 10 seconds ahead of her closest competitor - Andi Owens-Ripley of Cornerstone - and 23 seconds ahead of third-place finisher, and teammate, Katy Cramer.

With two runners in the top three and three in the top 10, the Saints of Aquinas College took home the team championship as well.

For Concordia, Corinne Kuclo finished with a personal best time of 25:11, which earned her a 46th place finish.
