(Nov. 15, 2009 - Ann Arbor, Mich.) -- Ashley Hart, sophomore hitter, lead a half-dozen Cardinal contigency that was honored at the end of the season by the coaches of the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference. Hart (So. - Birmingham, Mich.) was named to the All-WHAC Honorable Mention squad, while rookie Katie Matz (Fr. - Livonia, Mich.) earned a spot on the All-Freshmen team, an honor Hart received a year ago. All told, six members of the Concordia volleyball picked up a postseason honor.

In addition to Hart and Matz, Danielle Guss (So. - Lambertville, Mich.) was named as the Cardinals representative on the WHAC Champions of Character team, while a trio of seniors were honored for their efforts in the classroom.

Earning their second All-Conference Academic award were Rachel Compton (Sr. - Whitmore Lake, Mich.), Samantha Cuppen (Sr. - Port Huron, Mich.) and Ashley Zair (Sr. - West Bloomfield, Mich.).
