The Concordia men's cross country team finished up the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference meet Saturday morning with fourth-place team finish. Sophomore Michael Haiderer and freshman Steve Schmit finished 1-2 for Concordia as Haiderer crossed at 30:23.92 (31st place) while Schmit was right behind at 30:59.80 (32nd place). The other three Cardinal runners were Garet Ellis (37:15.57 - 36th place), Kevin Ellis (38:00.13 - 37th place) and John Alderson (42:29.02 - 39th place). Aquinas College won the team aspect of the meet with Derek Scott of Cornerstone taking the individual honor with a time of 25:28.16.
