(August 1, 2008 - Ann Arbor, Mich.) -- The Concordia men's basketball program has announced two different opportunities for young players to learn during the fall months. The annual Sunday Night Youth Basketball League returns for another installment as players from 4th through 8th grades will have a chance to further develop their skills under the watchful eye of the Concordia coaching staff. For little tikes between the ages of 5 and 8-years of age will be a new opportunity: Cardinal Kids Basketball.
The Sunday Night Youth Basketball League (SNYBL) will be held every Sunday evening beginning September 21 through October 26. The times for players in grades 4th through 6th will be held from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m., while those in 7th and 8th grade will go from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. (although the grade splits are subject to change).
The cost is $100 and includes a league shirt, 10 league games, individual instruction and development of basketball skills and league awards. The brochure for the league can be found here: SNYBL.
