(July 30, 2008 - Ann Arbor, Mich.) -- New Concordia golf coach Matt Distelrath has signed his first recruit  to the program after Brad Girling of Warren Woods Tower put his signature on a National Letter of Intent this afternoon.

Girling was a four-year member of the golf team at Tower, spending the final two seasons as the team's captain. This past season he was named to the MAC All-League team and was also a state qualifier.

"Brad is exactly the type of person we want to continue to bring to our program," said Distelrath. "He has had a very good prep career and we believe he has a tremendous upside and will only continue to get better."
