The Concordia women's cross country team had three runners compete in the Michigan Intercollegiate Cross Country Championships in Big Rapids Friday afternoon. Junior Becky Wartick again finished first for the Cardinals with a time of 22:32 in the 6k run. Her time earned her a 59th place finish for Concordia, which didn't field enough runners to post a team finish. Freshmen Nicole Barnaby (23:27 - 68th) and Andrea Smith (24:21 - 78th place) also ran for the Cardinals. Smith was competing in her first race for Concordia.
