Sophomore Bill Dorow shot a team best 82, while senior Eric Cassidy finished with an 88 as the Concordia men's golf team wrapped up the fall season finishing last at the WHAC Jamboree hosted by Davenport University. The Cardinals shot a team score of 366, which trailed fifth place Cornerstone University by 37 strokes at Thornapple Pointe Golf Course. Host Davenport University and Siena Heights University tied for the jamboree title with team scores of 317.
 
(Sept. 28, 2006 - Grand Rapids, Mich.) -- The fall golf season came to a close in Grand Rapids as the Concordia Cardinals again finished in sixth place as the team shot a total score of 366, 49 strokes off the leaders: Davenport and Siena Heights. Bill Dorow lead all Cardinal golfers with a round of 82, which tied him for 13th in the individual standings. Senior Eric Cassidy finished second on the team with a score of 88.
 
Brian Hayward of Aquinas College won the jamboree with his score of 73, besting Josh Dixon of Siena Heights by two strokes.
 
Dixon helped the Saints finish in a first place tie on the day with host Davenport University, who was lead by Brian Wojczynski who shot a round of 77.
 
The rest of the Cardinals struggled on the day: Mike Brooks (96), Justin Zeilinger (100), Bill Ondracka (105) and Jon Houston (112).
