(Oct. 20, 2007 - Grand Rapids, Mich.) -- Knowing that with only two runners available for the conference meet on Saturday afternoon in Grand Rapids, the Concordia women's cross country runners had to push themselves in a field with multiple runners from other squads. When all was said and done Gwen VanderWorp finished the meet in 31st place with a time of 20:52 in the 5k race. Nicole Barnaby crossed a little less than four minutes later in a time of 24:42 for a 45th place.
