The Cardinals head volleyball coach, Karen Graves, had this to say after signing the Bluestreaks stud blocker, "We are very excited to have signed Autumn. She is the volleyball team's first signee for the 2012 class and is a great one at that. Autumn is an outstanding player and comes from a great high school that has a rich volleyball tradition. She is a hard worker with a lot of potential. Autumn fills a big hole for us as a middle blocker and we have no doubt that she will make a strong contribution in helping this program grow right away."

Autumn will not only play volleyball for Concordia she will also be joining the Cardinals' softball team. With her senior season still yet to come Autumn is coming off of a very nice junior season competing against some of the best softball programs around. As a junior she recorded a 5-5 record on the mound, while posting a 3.58 ERA and striking out 69 batters. Assistant softball coach Zach Johnston had this to say about Autumn, "as a staff and as a team we are very pleased to say Autumn will be with us come next fall. Autumn's velocity is extremely impressive and once she goes through our strength and conditioning program she will be an elite pitcher in this league for years to come. Furthermore, she is not only a very gifted athlete she is also a very intelligent and passionate young women. She meshed very well with the girls when she was here visiting and we are extremely excited to have her joining our Cardinal family."
