(Ann Arbor, MI) - The Concordia Men's Basketball team has won its last three games (all in-conference) and will head into their annual Concordia Invitational Tournament (CIT) on an impressive hot streak. This latest win, against the University of Michigan-Dearborn, put the Cards at 12-10 overall and 8-4 in the WHAC which gives them sole possession of 2nd place.
The Cards would take care of the Wolves in decisive fashion on Wednesday. The Cardinals coasted to the final whistle with a double-digit lead, winning 71-61. This after coming back from a 6 point deficit at the halftime break. Andrew Patrick performed well in this game with 14 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals. Rocko Holmes also had a good game lead the Cards in scoring and rebounds with 28 and 7. Holmes was also 11/13 on field goals. John Schaffer also pitched in for the Cards with 12 points, 4 rebounds, and 4 assists.
The Cards will now head out to Chicago to compete in the CIT this weekend. CUAA will be competing with Concordias from Wisconsin, Illinois, and Nebraska. Their first game will be on Friday at 3:15pm. CU---AA!!!!
